Rachael’s love for flowers began in her childhood, with sweet memories shared with her Gran in her beautiful floral gardens, where garden roses were especially significant. Surrounded by perfumed flowers like sweet peas, freesias, lavender, and hydrangea, in the garden of their generational home in New Zealand, each garden rose carried a story from the original gardens of her Great Gran and Great Nana. These beloved memories instilled a love for florals that ultimately inspired Rachael to open her own studio, a space to share her love for flowers with others, adoring their lives with the beauty and emotion that they evoke.
The name LULLY & ROSE holds special meaning, derived from the unique nickname Rachael’s Grandad called her Gran – “Lully Bay Foot,” shortened to Lully. This name carries deep significance and is an integral part of the LULLY & ROSE story.
