This light-filled studio is a creative space that encompasses Rachael’s love for all things seasonal, luxe, locally grown… and of course her love affair with the colour white!

Rachael’s love for flowers stems from her childhood, where the seed was firmly planted from sweet memories shared with her Gran in her beautiful flower gardens, where roses were of great significance. Surrounded by perfumed florals like sweet peas, freesias and lavender, in the garden of their generational home in New Zealand, where every rose varietal had a story of where it begun its life in the original gardens of her Great Gran & her Nana. From these memories grew a love for florals that ultimately inspired Rachael’s dream to open her own studio. The name LULLY & ROSE is one imbued with significance, a unique nickname Rachael’s Grandad called her Gran – “Lully Bay Foot” – which he shortened to Lully. There is so much meaning behind the name, and it is an important part of the LULLY & ROSE story.
“It is the simplicity of gifting, and the gesture of fresh florals that inspired the contemporary approach we have at LULLY & ROSE. We believe that gifting flowers is for any occasion, and our minimalistic style and simplistic white wrap lets the flowers do the talking. When fresh, beautiful seasonal florals are used, nothing else is required”.
